Job Description

Action Property Management, a premier management company, is seeking a Full Time Luxury Door Attendant to join our team at our luxury high-rise community, The Millennium Tower, located in San Francisco.

 

 

Position Overview:

The primary focus for the Door Attendant is serving the first floor entrance areas, including the Porte Cochere for MillenniumTower.

The Door Attendant reports first to the Lead Concierge and to the Concierges on Duty for daily operational duties, as well as the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of Residents and Guests, and the protection of the property.
  • Perform an active role in all building Emergency Procedures.
  • Maintain the highest standards of security, hospitality and service.
  • Dynamically advance the level of service provided to the Residential client base.
  • Participate in and contribute to training programs.
  • Successfully complete training process.
  • Maintain records and documentation as assigned.
  • Additional duties as may be assigned. 

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure that everyone is greeted with the utmost expression of gracious hospitality.
  • Ensure the timely opening of doorways for people to egress or enter.
  • Remain in assigned post position, maintaining correct stance.
  • At all times exhibit a polite and professional manner reflecting a willingness to accommodate.
  • Immediately address and resolve all relevant issues ensuring Resident and Guest satisfaction.
  • Assist Staff Members to ensure first class service.
  • Maintain clear passage of the car drop off area and sidewalks into the building.
  • Communicate parking procedures to Residents and Guests.
  • Direct Valet in transporting vehicles between the entrance and parking facility.
  • Secure taxicabs for Residents and Guests.
  • Assist Residents and Guests into and out of their vehicles.
  • Assist Residents and Guests with the loading and unloading of packages and luggage into and out of their vehicles.
  • Provide legible claim tickets to Residents and Guests for their luggage and packages.
  • Assure safety and security of all luggage and packages.
  • Transport luggage to and from the entrance area to the Concierge package room or other designated area.
  • Keep Concierge apprised of weather conditions.
  • Relay accurate directions to Residents and Guests on inquiries regarding destinations within the local area.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of local attractions and activities.
  • Answer Department telephone before the fourth ring using the correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
  • Clean and maintain the glass and metal finishes at the entrance.
  • Mop up wet spills in the lobby as necessary.
  • Assist in the placement and removal of lobby rain mats.

Position Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in service and hospitality.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
