As a Pharmacy Technician-Care Plus, you will be working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, and work to ensure patients receive specialty medication in a timely manner while providing excellentcustomer service. ThePharmacy Technician is essential to ensuring medication has been filled correctly so it can positively impact the lives of others. ThePharmacy Technician position is responsible for accuratelyentering prescription information, contacting patients to arrange deliver or set a pickup date, corresponding with prescribers to clarify prescription information , filling prescriptions, preparing orders for delivery, maintaining adequate inventory, resolving insurance issues, assisting with Prior Authorizations, helping walk-in customers, performing cash register transactions.As part of the Pharmacy Technician -Care Plusteam, you will you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels.Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Customer Focus-Problem Solving-Understanding pharmaceutical calculations-Working with basic computer programs

CPhT, PTCB, Customer Service, Pharmacy Technician, Specialty, CVS, Insurance Verification, Processing Technician



Required Qualifications
- Active California State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing

Preferred Qualifications
- PCTB certified technician

- Prior Pharmacy Technician experience

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
