Responsible for the administration, coordination and oversight of the Human Resource functions, which includes but not limited to, Benefits, Compensation, Onboarding/Recruitment & Training, HRIS, Leave of Absence, Workers Compensation, and Employee and Labor Relations. This position will also have oversight over all HR policies and procedures, regulatory compliance with DHS, OSHA, Joint Commission, State, Local, Federal, and all employment laws. - Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
- Masters’ Degree preferred.
- Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory/management experience demonstrating substantial knowledge of human resources operations, practices and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to function and maintain a work flow with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment. Must have prior experience working with employee and/or labor relations. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with McKesson is a plus.
- Sexual Harassment training must be completed within 6 months of hire or promotion, and in accordance with requisites set forth by California State Law. Must remain compliant with all annual education and health requirements.
