Position summary and responsibilities:

The candidate of this position must be self-motivated, responsible, maintain an excellent attendance/punctuality record and be proactive

 

Position Requirements:

  1. Must be able to work flexible shifts, days, hours, and weekends
  2. Must be able to work overtime on as needed basis
  3. Must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude
  4. Must be able to read/ write and communicate effectively in English
  5. College Degree is desirable.
  6. Must be able to monitor product / process to identify and address any non-compliances

Position Responsibilities:

With the direction of the QA Supervisor this position is responsible for the following:

  • Execute product inspection for package seal integrity
  • Collection of product samples
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Safety:

  • Insures compliance with all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

 

FOOD SAFETY/QUALITY/FOOD SECURITY:

  • Complies with SQF and regulatory programs requirements
  • Supports Foreign Object Preventive Program
  • Executes Quality Assurance SOPs
  • Reports Food Safety/Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
  • Reports any concerns issues pertaining to Food Security to leadership staff

Testing is required
