|The County of San Mateo is seeking qualified candidates for Animal Control Hearing Officers. Under general supervision, the officers will hear evidence and /or arguments and reach an acceptable solution via an administrative hearing (without a legal trial); review evidence from interested parties; travel to the Hearing site in San Mateo or Redwood City; and represent the County and cities in Dangerous Animal and Vicious Animal administrative hearings.|

NOTE: These positions are On-Call and not covered by the County of San Mateo Civil Service Rules. These are temporary assignments and workers are not guaranteed permanent status at the end of the assignment.
